Why does JEE Advanced pattern changes every year ?

Before answering on the topic i want to talk a little about JEE Advanced . It is one of the toughest exam held at today’s that where around 2 lacs students compete for seats in India’s premier institutes . So definitely the question setters have to test one’s adapatability apart from creadibility which I think most of the appearing students have . Others factors may be :- By repeating same pattern year after year a exam looses its core idea i.e. to check students creadibility . Instead few generalisations can be made about the paper . We all must have experienced it while giving boards where we were able to find the weightage pattern for different chapters by looking at previous years papers and were able to deduce important chapters from it This may be a strategy to give proper chance equal chance to all . As a change in pattern affects all of them . .This also minimizes the popularly known term “luck factor” as recently huge propotion of negative marking has been introduced. Changing pattern gives a surprise to the coaching industry who charge around 1lacs for just tutions without any gurantee . last off all its jee advanced there has to be some surprise as no examiner wants any rote learner to get into IIT and enjoy at taxpayers money.
