What is a Conditional offer letter? ?

A conditional offer letter means that you are allowed provisional admission at the university with certain conditions attached to it. Once you meet these conditions, the offer letter become unconditional. You can accept the offer letter only once the offer letter becomes unconditional and then go ahead to pay for your tuition fee for the first semester and purchase an Overseas Student Health cover for the entire duration of course. Some of the most common conditions that can be mentioned on a conditional offer are: Academic conditions : In this condition, the university will ask you to achieve certain academic scores. Example 1: If you are a class 12th student and have received a conditional offer letter for Bachelor’s degree, the university will mention a certain percentage that you need to achieve in your class 12th results to make the offer letter unconditional. Example 2: If you are studying a bachelor’s degree and have received a conditional letter for your master’s degree, the university will mention certain grades that you need to get in your bachelor’s degree before accepting the offer. English language conditions : If you didn’t submit your English language proficiency test scores when sending your application, the university may give you an offer letter which will be conditional on your English language proficiency test results. Most universities require a band of 6.5 overall out of 9.0 in IELTS with no subset less than 6.0 which includes Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Conditional offer letter is an admission letter issued by the overseas host university offering admission to a student subject to conditions which need to be fulfilled. The conditions are mentioned on the letter and student hasto fulfill those conditions in order to get acceptance or unconditional offer letter to apply for visa.
