Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) is a government aided autonomous engineering and technological institute that was established in 1887 that is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Formerly known as the Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, VJTI is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Asia. Financially supported by the Government of Maharashtra, Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute is AICTE, New Delhi approved and affiliated to the University of Mumbai. From June 21, 2004, it was granted as an autonomous institute on the financial and academic level. VJTI institute offers certificate, diploma, degree, post-graduate and doctoral level programs in engineering and technology stream. The campus of the institute is spread on 16 acres of H. R. Mahajani Marg, Matunga Road, Matunga West in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
