About College

Jagannath International Management School, popularly known as JIMS, was founded in the year 1997 by the Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society which is a registered non-profit organization. The Institute was established as a Management College to impart high quality education in management and in turn serve society and improve the quality of life. It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

• JIMS has been rated as ‘A Grade Management institute’ by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
• The campus offers PGDM courses duly approved by AICTE (Ministry of HRD). The PGDM program has also been granted equivalence to MBA degree by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

• The PGDM (IB) students get a free travel cum study trip to Management Development Institute of Singapore (MIDS), Singapore for a one-week certificate course conducted by faculty of MDIS.

• 25% Scholarship to students with 700 in MAT/ 80%ile CAT and 65% in X, XII and Graduation.

Kshitij

The most awaited JIMS Annual Inter-College cultural fiesta ‘KSHITIJ & CELEBRITY NITE 2014’ was held on 1st March, 2014 at Kathuria Public School, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. Dr. Amit Gupta, our Hon’ble Chairman, graced the annual cultural evening with his benign presence. Mr. Muktesh Chandra (IPS), Joint Commissioner of Police (Delhi) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The 7 hour Cultural & Celebrity Nite programme was attended by a cheerful audience of around 900 students, faculty & staff members of JIMS. There were events like Solo Singing, Fashion Show, Group Dance and Mr. & Ms. Kshitij. The much-awaited ramp walk for Mr. & Ms. Kshitij started with great keenness, followed by the talent show and Q&A round.

Zest & Dandia

The annual cultural extravaganza of “Zest and Dandiya 2013” was held on 21st October, 2013 at FICCI Auditorium. The program began with Saraswati Vandana and lighting of the lamp followed by the events- solo and group instrumental competition, RJ hunt, group dance, antakshari, Ad-Mad Show, JAM, theme play and fashion show. The participants enthralled the audience with their performances. The winners were given prizes by Chairman, Dr. Amit Gupta, Dr. Satish Seth, Director, JIMS Kalkaji, Dr. M.P Singh, Director JIMS, Lajpat Nagar and Dr. Ravi Dhar, Director, JIMS, Vasant Kunj. The ‘Garbha Dance’ at the end provided a fitting finale to the celebrations.

Rock Star Nite

Pop Star Nite followed after Kshitij was held on 1st March, 2014. Ms. Shibani Kashyap, the icon of Pop singing, enthralled the audience with her popular numbers, her energetic performance, including her latest song with singer MIKA- Soniy and then there was no stopping. She also sang her everlasting numbers, Sajnaa and Zinda Hoon Mein. The entire crowd including students, faculty and staff were all tapping their feet with her melodious voice.
